We have a furnished basement studio rental, private entrance in Columbia Heights off 14th Street. Approx.. 600 sq ft. Perfect for professional commuting to DC during the week and/or regular traveler. Incl. in monthly rental ($1,500) all utilities; high-speed internet; a large smart TV with Netflix, HBO, SHO, Prime, etc. Rental has a low-tech kitchen with 2 induction burners (compatible pots and pans), a 5-in-1 tabletop oven, microwave, garbage disposal, and refrig/freezer. Unit has its own washer and dryer. The bed has a queen-sized mattress and there is a set of drawers. Across from the television is a lg leather sofa and a coffee table. There is a small storage area. There is an abundance (and variety) of lighting (with dimmers) to mimic natural light to the extent possible. Rear egress gives access to an enclosed terrace with a large table and gas grill. We can negotiate access to this outside area depending on the renter. House is 0.5 miles from the metro; closer are 3 major supermarkets (Giant, Safeway and Yes! Organic); and several bars and restaurants. There is no reserved parking, street parking is available. Last renter stayed 3 years and can provide independent assessment. Prefer no pets and a 12-month commitment.
